How to Make Your Home Smell Like Fire

As I type this post I am trying to ignore the fact that my apartment smells like something is on fire because well…

The picture is blurry because smoke, not steam is pluming from the pan!

I was being attempting to be proactive by preparing dinner a delicious dinner with rosemary lentils for later in the week so that I would have plenty of time to get everything done I needed to do. Normally, I have no problem with this. Apparently, E!News was just too darn fascinating because it was not until I smelled something burning I remembered I had something on the stove.

This was the after effect to my pan, any suggestions on what I can do to reclaim it?

Opps! it’s a darn shame too because I was rather excited for that meal.

I Am Officially a North Carolinian

When I first moved to North Carolina, I was remotely aware of Bojangles, just another fast food chicken joint…or so I thought. In my defense, I am not a big fast food goer to begin with. Sure it’s unhealthy, poorly sourced, blah, blah, blah, but frankly, I just don’t think the majority of fast food taste good.

Well, as I am sure any of you familiar with North Carolina can attest, Bojangles is somewhat sacred here in North Cackalcky. You cannot turn on the radio without hearing North Carolina’s golden boy, Scotty McCreery literally singing it’s praises.

As I was with work colleagues, I was fine with anything they selected for lunch.

Enter Bojangles. I ordered the Roasted Chicken Bites and Cajun Pintos. The chicken may have been 50 percent chicken, 50 percent gristle, but the Pintos were…great! I’m a fan!
